I have a Carmen Scan Lite recently purchased new. I have tried communicating with a Toyota L/Cruiser FZJ and a Dyna 15B-FTE both fitted with the Denso V4 injector pump and system. Both times the scan tool tool comes up with 'unable to communicate with system'. Both vehicles are in the Carmen Lite. Is this a software issue within the Carmen Lite? upgrade possibility?

Have you tried talking to the vehicle through General?

Yes tried the General option along with the auto search option even tried OBD2 option still no luck. Worked well with the new CR Toyota Hilux. So frustrating

Toyota Dyna XZU300 C/CAB 2003 Model VU 300R-TQMMWQ3 Engine 15B-FTE 4104CC Vin JHf*g037600001085 Sorry don't have the details for the L/cruiser as that was some time back although the fuel injection system is the same Denso V4 type of injector pump just a 6 cyl whereas the Dyna is a 4 cyl.
Thanks for that

Have had the opportunity to try and talk to a Toyota Hilux 5LE fitted with Denso ECD V3 injector pump Model LN147R-JRMDEQ ---- MR033LNE909001880. Had no luck with my Carmen Lite Scan tool for the Asian market. Tried with a Toyota Prado ALSO fitted with the Denso V3 system also no luck. Does this scan tool actually work on any Toyota's except the new Common Rail versions? So frustrating.
